Mid Century Modern House
Claremont

Much of the original 1950’s charm was still existing, though it had missed out on the open floor plan and connection with the backyard. Working closely with the clients, we undertook a transformative update for this home. We gave it the mid-century openness it had been lacking by adding an oversized sliding glass wall, doors, and windows as part of the addition. These elements beautifully connected the kitchen and dining room to the backyard. Additionally, we incorporated an art wall screen in the living room. This not only provided privacy but also served as a unique space to display art, all while maintaining an open and inviting feel throughout the home.
