My husband and I were immensely pleased with the new Master Bathroom that Mark and his team re-designed and constructed for us. Walter, the designer, was excellent and professional. Mark's team made the project (a complete remodel with new construction) non-intrusive to the rest of our home, ran on schedule and was a delight to work with! The bathroom is fabulous and we get so many compliments from others that have seen it! I would not hesitate to use them on any other projects in the future that we may have. They do outstanding and quality work with attention to detail.

Perfection Attitude
Working with Mark and the entire Lotus team was like working with family. Mark recreated our house as if it was his own. The attention to detail was perfect for my own picky desire for perfection. Lotus has the same perfection attitude. The Lotus designer kept us on track with all the house details we never would have thought of: door stops, mailbox, house numbers etc. His suggestions were perfect for our house, helped to create a unique space and made that process painless. We interviewed three contractors. Their estimates were basically the same. We chose Mark because he seemed like someone we would be comfortable working with, he was recommended by another professional in the area and he lives in the same town we live in. After working with Mark I can now recommend Lotus because of their professional attitude, their knowledge of all aspects of the construction process, the skilled team of workers and Mark's focus on meeting deadlines and sticking to the budget. I would recommend and have recommended Lotus Construction to anyone planning a remodel.

"I unequivocally recommend Lotus Construction, and owner Mark Ashworth. Two years ago they renovated two condos for me and were a pleasure to work with. (A bonus is that since then he is my go-to guy when I have repairs at my residence.) We are anticipating another project and I don't intend to interview anyone else. Why? I've built a house and over the years have had three other renovation projects. I have had four other contractors and each one was stress-provoking and ultimately I didn't trust them to have my best interests at heart. Mark Ashworth and his employees are trustworthy, resourceful and dependable. I find that many contractors are unable to explain technical things to the laypeople. Mark can. He is a creative, intelligent person who is a pleasure to work with. He is not the least expensive because he does quality work. He will not underbid your job only to have cost overruns, and his work will still demonstrate quality over the years."

Modern Kitchen that fit
“We wanted a more modern kitchen that fit in with the rest of our 1928 home. Mark does a great job pre-planning the project with clients, so by the time we started construction the timeline was tight with very few surprises. The kitchen was demo'd down to the studs, removing a wall; the space was sealed so we had NO dust in the rest of the house, and Mark and his team communicated with us every step of the way. The kitchen is even better than we had hoped for! They're great to work with a nice crew to have around!”

"Project completed on time, under budget, with smiles. Before beginning, we needed help even imagining our new kitchen. Mark guided us through with a checklist, so we spent time deciding and purchasing before start of project. Once all our homework was done (new appliances & materials purchased and received), then renovation could start. This helped us stay on schedule, and Mark communicated often about any changes to schedule."

Hard-working, and Polite
“My husband and I chose Mark to do a rehab for us and could not have been more pleased and satisfied. We have undertaken a couple of big DIY projects in the past, so feel as though we are quite knowledgeable about how things should be done.This particular project was just bigger than we wanted to tackle so we decided to find a contractor; Mark was the second one we interviewed. His mellow personality and his seeming ability to really hear us made us choose him and boy are we glad we did. Not only did the project come in on time an on budget but the work he and his crew did was fantastic. He consulted a structural engineer to advise on placement of support beams that were needed once we removed several load bearing walls. His guys showed up, on time, every day. They were pleasant, hard-working, and polite...really delightful to have around. The daily mess and debris was cleaned up at the end of every single day. Mark did an excellent job at problem solving for our very unusual house; he had good ideas, but more importantly for us, could recognize our good ideas too. We have lots of respect and admiration for Mark's very professional, craftsman-like approach to his projects. We recommend him highly and without hesitation.”

Kitchen / Bath / Bedroom Renovation
"We love Mark and Lotus Construction! We have a 1926 mission style home. The previous owners re-did the bathrooms and kitchen in the 1970's. We wanted to return those spaces to something closer to the original. Lotus beautifully renovated one bathroom for us on-time / on-budget and we knew we had found a great contractor. We are now nearing completion on the much larger project, kitchen / bath / bedroom renovation. We are thrilled with the results. Mark and his crew are careful, considerate craftsmen.
